September Permabee - Dee Why - Sunday September 25, 10am to 4pm
Garden owner, Siew has been enhancing her permaculture garden for a number of years, including aquaponics with 15 trout, chickens, citrus, bananas, raspberries passionfruit, veggies and logs of fuschiaas, orchids and bromeliads.
This permabee will allow you to be involved in improving the water irrigation system, revitalise the aquaponics, complete a raised garden bed including planting seedlings, and pruning several fruit trees and more job as time and numbers allow. Siew is also keen to demonstrate making laundry powder, with a samples being available to take home.
Feel free to bring along seeds and cuttings for swapping between members.
Lunch and afternoon tea provided. Feel free to bring something to share for morning tea.
