INTRODUCTION TO PERMACULTURE COURSE

WANT TO TAKE SUSTAINABLE LIVING TO THE NEXT LEVEL?
This two day permaculture course is a great overview of all aspects of permaculture - so as to enable you to take the next steps to incorporate this into your life. Over the weekend we will cover topics from organic gardening, sustainable housing, soil, site analysis for your garden/site, permaculture design, and zoning. You will receive a Introduction to Permaculture certificate and a copy of Bill Mollison's book " Introduction to Permaculture." The course will be held at Manly Vale Community Garden which allows for practical exercises in the well-established community garden. There will also be a special session for those involved in community gardens.
The teachers are: Lance Lieber who is a permaculture landscaper and has been involved in setting up many community gardens in Sydney, he is coordinator of Transition Bondi, Transition Sydney and responsible runners. He is also a qualified permaculture teacher. Michelle (Elle) Sheather has worked around the world as an ecologist including on food diversity and environmental preservation, she is a qualified permaculture teacher, and Permaculture Northern Beaches (PNB) committee member for over 8 years.

Cost: $290 for permaculture and community garden members, $330 for non-members, concessions available for students, pensioners, unemployed.
