Seaforth’s first community garden will celebrate their first birthday with a unique “sausage sizzle”, featuring locally grown and organic produce. The Baringa Bush Community Garden has transformed the local area, bringing together neighbours of all ages and converting unused land which was once a dairy farm into a productive garden and community.
At 1pm Dan Smailes from PNB will present a native stingless bees workshop and “bee hotel" to ensure pollination in urban environments. Location: Baranbali Avenue, Seaforth corner of Fromelles Avenue. For further information: www.baringabush.wordpress.com
