For our September perma-tour we are off to a special property on Bungan headland. Not just one property but three permaculture minded gardens rolled into one. These gardens offer everything permie from pool conversion, aquaponics, vegies, chickens, worms to fruit trees, with a spectacular backdrop of the ocean crashing on its footsteps. A truly inspiring tour. Not to be missed.
- 9am start.
- Contact: matt@mattwilsontiling.com for full details.
- Free entry for PNB members, by donation for guests.
UPDATE 27/9/2014: SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. MAP BELOW
If Driving North towards Newport/Palm Beach, Karloo Parade/Beach Rd are on your right.
Immediately to the right of where Karloo Parade joins Barrenjoey Rd you’ll see Beach Rd.
Beach Rd is one-way and very steep. Although steep, Beach Rd has good traction, is concreted and also has steps.
Number 7 Beach Rd is on the right going down the hill and is approximately 250 metres from Barrenjoey Rd.
We don’t recommend taking your car down Beach Rd as there is no off-street parking and only private residences’ driveways.
Best parking options are on Barrenjoey Rd which is very close to Beach Rd.
**Please make sure to be there at 9.00 sharp to sign-in.
PNB members are automatically insured and have free entry as part of their membership fee.
Non-PNB Visitors are very welcome, a donation of up to $5 would be appreciated, but must sign-in for insurance coverage before the tour on-site with PNB Permatour Leader Matt Wilson.
Many thanks to Matt for organising this tour. For questions about this Permatour please call him on 0410 347 794.
