Repair and Reuse DIY

Learn how to fix that wobbly chair and table leg, and how to give new life to a pre-loved piece of furniture. This workshop includes understanding how to repair joints and replace worn out or missing parts. You’ll be taught how to use different tools – both hand and power – and how to select the right tool for the job needed.

This is a ‘Tricks of the Trade’ workshop from The Bower Reuse and Recycling Centre back by popular demand. It is a great opportunity to familiarise yourself with the latest ideas and techniques for the repairing and upcycling of pre-loved furniture. No prior skills are required as an experienced wood worker will guide you through the workshop.

Places are limited and bookings will be open one month before the workshop via Eventbrite.

You are welcome to bring an item of furniture to repair. Please notify the coordinator what you are bringing when you make your booking.

This is a 5-hour instructor-led workshop, all tools and equipment will be provided,  Afternoon tea will be available.  Please bring a plate of food to share.

Location: Angophora Room, Nelson Heather Centre Jackson Rd Warriewood
