Sydney Metropolitan Wildlife Services Inc (Sydney Wildlife) was formed in May 1997 by a large group of experienced wildlife carers to meet the specific needs of urban wildlife in the Sydney metropolitan area.
They are licensed by NSW National Parks & Wildlife Service to rescue, rehabilitate, and release sick, injured, and orphaned native animals. Sydney Wildlife educates the community, at all levels, about the need to protect our native animals and preserve their habitats.
Operated entirely by volunteers they offer this rescue and advice service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Their 24 hotline is 02 -94134300.
Learn what to do when you find an injured animal/s on the road, in your garden, or in the bush. Learn more about the local animals on the Northern Beaches and what we all can do to protect them.
Join our Zoom session at 7:30 - 9:00 pm on Thursday 25th November to hear from Sydney Wildlife Rescue about the great work they are doing to protect our native species.
